About UAE Number Plate Value
UAE Number Plate Value is a free tool that helps buyers and sellers understand what a number plate is realistically worth — and why.
What we do
We turn a plate's details — emirate, code or category, number length and pattern — into a realistic value range with a confidence score and a clear explanation. The goal is simple: replace guesswork and inflated asking prices with a transparent, repeatable estimate you can actually reason about.
How our estimates work
Every estimate uses a transparent, rule-based model rather than a black box. It weighs number rarity, emirate demand, code or category strength, low-number scarcity and pattern quality, then widens or narrows the range based on how much supporting evidence exists. You can read the full approach on our methodology page.
Our market evidence
Our reviewed price sample separates reported auction results from advertised listings, with source links and dates. Coverage varies by emirate and plate profile. Charity results do not calibrate estimates; where matching evidence is unavailable, results say model-only. We don't buy or sell plates.
Publishing, sources and corrections
UAE Number Plate Value publishes the guides under the site’s organisation name. We use AI-assisted research and drafting, linked authority and auction-operator sources, and reproducible calculations from the reviewed dataset.
A “Sources checked” date records a source review for that guide. It is separate from a sale date, an observation date and an original publication date. Auction announcements are not recorded as completed results, and a marketplace listing alone does not prove a sale.
Price samples are selected and have coverage gaps. Our guides distinguish documented facts from model assumptions and illustrative inputs. For the evidence rules and confidence limits, read the methodology.
For a correction, include the page URL, full plate identity, relevant date and a link to the original source. Those details let us check the claim without turning an incomplete screenshot or an unsupported price into a new record.
Coverage
The tool covers all seven emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain.
