Dubai P 7: Guinness lists the AED 55 million charity sale on 8 April 2023 as its most expensive car registration record. This describes the registry entry checked on 2026-10-19; records can change before a registry is updated.
Abu Dhabi category 5, number 1: Emirates Auction reports the AED 52.2 million result on 16 February 2008. The proceeds supported a rehabilitation centre for traffic accident victims. The operator's 2023 record retrospective identifies the earlier plate as 5-1.
Dubai D 5: Al Bayan's auction report dates the AED 33 million sale to 8 October 2016. RTA also records the result in Al Masar issue 101. It was reported as a standard RTA open-auction result.
Why headline records are poor everyday benchmarks
A one-digit plate has a different scarcity profile from a four- or five-digit plate. Charity bidding also reflects a fundraising occasion. These amounts do not establish an ordinary owner's likely resale price.
All three records are excluded from current calculator calibration: two are charity sales, and the standard D 5 result is older than the model's two-year evidence window. Compare recent standard auction results and advertised asking prices, or read how the model uses supporting evidence.
