UAE number plate auction results and source archive
By UAE Number Plate Value · Sources checked:
Use dated results to understand what particular plates achieved. Announcements, live bids, asking prices and charity records are kept separate so a planned lot cannot be mistaken for a completed sale.
Coverage at a glance
This archive currently contains nine selected standard auction results from two 2025 RTA events. It also records a 2026 announcement without assigning any prices to the planned lots. Missing auctions and lots are gaps in our coverage, not evidence that they did not take place.
- RTA 121st open auction · 2026-10-24 — announcement only
- RTA 120th open auction · 2025-12-27 — 4 reported highlights
- RTA 118th open auction · 2025-04-26 — 5 reported highlights
RTA 121st open auction ·
Announcement only — no verified achieved prices. Announced on 19 October 2026 for 24 October. No achieved prices have been verified for this event in our archive. (RTA: 121st auction announcement)
RTA’s announcement lists BB 80, BB 18 and CC 44 among the planned highlights. These are catalogue identities, not completed-sale comparables. A later results report is needed before any amount can enter the price sample.

How to read a plate auction result
- Record the emirate and complete code or category alongside the number.
- Keep the actual auction date separate from the later publication date.
- Check that the figure is a result, rather than an opening bid or live amount.
- Identify whether the event was a standard auction or a fundraiser.
- Check how taxes, buyer charges and ownership-document fees are treated in the original terms.
Prices in the table are reproduced as reported. They do not establish an all-in buyer total. Do not add an assumed fee to a result and then record that calculated total as the reported plate price.
Auction participation terms belong to the particular event
The 121st-auction announcement specifies a Dubai traffic file, an AED 25,000 security cheque and an AED 120 non-refundable participation fee, with plate sales subject to 5% VAT. Those are the announced terms of that hall auction, not a universal rule for online bidding or Buy Now purchases. (RTA: 121st auction announcement)
Start with RTA: purchase a special plate number for the applicable Dubai service or the operator’s current emirate-specific auction terms. For the difference between a fixed-price purchase and bidding, read the Emirates Auction: Buy Now FAQ and our buying guide.
Charity records and everyday value
Dubai P 7 and the historical Abu Dhabi category 5 number 1 result are covered in selected historical records. They are not pooled with the standard auction rows above or used to calibrate an ordinary plate estimate.
Compare the two-digit and three-digit result groups, or inspect all source records and the CSV. The guide index also separates the asking-only four- and five-digit samples.
