Five-digit number plate prices in the UAE

By UAE Number Plate Value · Sources checked:

Five digits include both mixed everyday numbers and highly memorable combinations. Our reviewed advertisements help frame a shortlist, while the calculator shows when ordinary-market evidence is missing.

What counts as a 5-digit plate?

Count only the main number. The Dubai letters, Abu Dhabi category or another emirate’s code remain separate parts of the identity. They are not added to its numeric length.

Without leading zeros, there are 90,000 mathematically possible 5-digit numbers per series: 9 × 104. That calculation is not a count of issued, available or transferable plates, and it does not determine a market price.

What the reviewed 5-digit sample covers

The reviewed five-digit sample contains advertisements in Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain. These are selected Buy Now listings, not confirmed transactions or a census of ordinary plates.

Snapshot date: . Each group below keeps the emirate and evidence type separate. Sample medians require at least five records; the bounds are observed sample prices, not a typical market range.

Ordinary and strongly patterned five-digit plates are different groups

Illustrative 38472 has mixed digits, 77777 repeats one digit, and 12321 is a palindrome. A shared length is not enough to treat their numbers as equivalent. The calculator keeps market class as well as digit count in its matching rules.

Ajman K 43321 and K 60002 were advertised at different prices on the same snapshot date. They share a code and length, but their asks still do not prove a completed-sale premium for one digit arrangement.

Why an ordinary Dubai five-digit result can be model-only

Our verified Dubai results cover distinctive two- and three-digit auction highlights. Reusing those million-dirham prices for A 38472 would change the digit count and number structure. We leave the missing five-digit evidence visible instead.

  • Check that the supporting rows actually have five numeric digits.
  • Keep an asking price distinct from a completed sale and from a live bid.
  • Compare a dated, complete identity rather than a screenshot containing only the large digits.

The code is not an extra digit or a personal traffic-file identifier

Sharjah code 3 number 45440 is a five-digit main number; the code is separate. Fujairah I 11440 uses a letter I as its code. Abu Dhabi category 50 also stays outside the main-number digit count.

The private-car checker accepts one to five main-number digits without a leading zero. Do not strip leading zeros from a different registration format merely to force it into this model.

Check your complete plate identity

Frequently asked questions

What is a normal five-digit UAE plate worth? +

There is no single figure across emirates and codes. The tables describe selected advertised stock, while ordinary Dubai and Abu Dhabi evidence remains limited.

Are five-digit asking prices achieved sale prices? +

No. A seller’s advertised request can change or remain unsold. The calculator identifies asking-only support and keeps confidence Low.

Does the category count towards five digits? +

No. Count the main number only. A separate category or code remains part of the full plate identity but is not added to the numeric length.
